Frequently asked questions

You’ve got questions and we’ve got answers

There are two options for making payments – if you have PayPal account you can use this. All we would ask is that if you’re collecting items then please pay via family and friends.

If you don’t have PayPal then you can pay via debit/credit card. Super simple and super secure.

My Tiny’s ethos is all about being kinder to the planet and your pockets in the process.

Unlike any other preloved sites, My Tiny donates 5% of any profit made to charity. For 2022/23 the chosen charity is When you Wish Upon a Star  – a Children’s charity proudly granting wishes for sick children aged 4-16.

Purchasing products from My Tiny is really simple.

Browse the products being advertised and once you have found the item you’d like, add it to your basket and then go to the checkout.  Check delivery/local pick up and proceed to the checkout.

Check or enter your billing details and if you’d like the item delivering to a different address ensure you check that box too adding the new address.

Finally, complete the payment by proceeding to PayPal and complete all PayPal elements. If all is successful you will see the order in your buying history and will receive email confirmation.

Once your parcel is ready, you will receive an email so we can arrange collection. Please check your junk email as sometimes (sadly) our communication ends up there.

We aim to post all items within 24-48 hours. If there is a delay with your order, we will let you know.

In order to ensure both us (My Tiny) and you (the buyer) are protected, all parcels will be sent via a courier service and a tracking number will be provided.

As your parcel will be posted via a courier service, it should arrive safely. That said, parcels sometimes go awry. If his happens we will contact the courier service for a resolution.

Please let us know immediately. You can do this via our contact us form, social media accounts or via email at hello@mytiny.co.uk

If the item has been damaged during delivery please visit the courier’s website for details on how to submit a complaint. Please also let us know.

It is important that you prioritise your safety and follow government guidelines re: safety measures. But in short, COVID-19 does not prevent the buying and/or selling items from My Tiny.

As with any trip outside of your home, ensure you wash your hands for at least 20 seconds when you return home.

If you are sending consignment items , please ensure you wash items before packing.

Wash/disinfect your new item before using it. Wash items as per the manufacturer’s labels. Once handling a preloved item wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds.

If you have selected the option for ‘collection’, please ensure you observe social distancing guidelines and follow the advice above.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) have stated that “the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes Covid-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low”.
